Senior ICPS economist Ildar Gazizullin is a specialist in industrial organization. His area of expertise is energy, transport and other infrastructure-related issues. Since joining ICPS in 2003, Mr. Gazizullin has co-authored various papers on EU-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement, the business climate in Ukraine, created a quality of life index for the country, taken part in ICPS’s 2008 Open Budget Initiative, and compiles regular macroeconomic updates for Economic Insight.

Mr Gazizullin has a Master’s degree in economics from the Economics Education and Research Consortium (EERC) of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

Languages: Ukrainian, Russian, English.
