Today, Ukrainian foreign policy is at a crossroads. Not between East and West, but between relevance and irrelevance. Over the last few years Kyiv has damaged its image, lost the trust of its key partners and missed a lot of opportunities. The ICPS team proposes four strategic priorities for Ukrainian foreign policy – simple, but urgent. These priorities can consolidate the Ukrainian society and help use foreign policy to the country’s benefit.

The Eastern Partnership: Thinking Ahead, Moving Forward

The International Centre for Policy Studies welcomes the launching of the Eastern Partnership as a positive step in the European Union’s relations with its eastern neighbours in general, and with Ukraine in particular. This initiative may improve strategic thinking on all sides, while at the same time helping to integrate willing partner countries with the EU.
